Economic Development
TAYODEA performs many activities in the community designed to create employment and improve local economic condition. From agricultural training on TAYODEAs 500 acre farm to carpentry training in the rural areas, TAYODEA is trying to put the youth of the region in a position to succeed.
Agricultural Training
Organization owned 500 acres of fertile farm at Kirare Ward, (outskirt of Tanga City). The plan is to grow cashew nuts and fruits and hot culture farming. A part of farming we plan to keep animals in the area. Current program is to survey the land in preparation for permits from the Government.
With cooperation with the Tanga Rotary Club, a well was created to provide safe drinking water to the TAYODEA Youth Village.
Vocational Training
Organization succeeded to establish a Centre where Youth trained in carpentry. Vocational at Shume Manolo in Lushoto District. 9 Youth are working in this center.
